Kathye Flanagan
Music
Ms. Kathye has been teaching music to young children for years. In addition to her own business, Happy Notes, Kathye teaches music at South Church Preschool as an enrichment program. Kathye specifically targets each age group with different songs and tailors her classes to the curriculum we are teaching at that time. We are so happy to be able to collaborate with Kathye during our holiday concerts and many other special events.
Mrs. Wegner
Gym
Mrs. Wegner is our Gym teacher. She has taught in our classrooms and is excited to continue teaching the kids in her gym classes. Her love for running and being active makes her a perfect candidate for the position! She is very talented at customizing her classes based on the children's needs and interests. Mrs. Wegner teaches gym to the 2 and 3 day classes every other week, and to the 4 and 5 day classes once every week. By the end of the year, our students are comfortable transitioning and participating in group activities because of our gym classes.
Mrs. Nardi
Spanish
We are fortunate to have a teacher that is fluent in Spanish and loves teaching to young children. Mrs. Nardi teaches basic Spanish to the 5 day students. Her exuberant energy makes learning a new language fun and memorable. She includes her knowledge of early childhood education into her Spanish lessons with catchy songs, games and projects. We are so happy that we are able to expose our children to a foreign language at such a young age with so much success.
